Reverse Mouse cable/driver and pinout?

I set up a trackball in my control panel but I had to install it upside down to make it fit properly.

I can go into each game and reverse X and Y but it is still reversed outside of MAME.

I found this Microsoft site that explains reversing the wiring to make it work "upside down". Assuming I don't have this exact mouse extension cable and I can't be sure of the colors, does anyone know the pinout for a PS2 cable and which pins I need to swap?

If possible I'd like to alter an extension cable and leave the track ball as is.

Or, is there a DOS mouse driver that allows each axis to be reversed? This would be the easiest method but I haven't find one yet.
