JAMMA is a arcade interface, it was designed by the Japan Amuesement Assocation back in the 80's, its a generic interface which many Arcade boards use..
Its just the easier way of changing one arcade game for another, bit like cartridge consoles, you unplug one, and plug in another.. This is also the quickest route to interface arcade joysticks and video if Jamma connector already exists in the Arcade Cabinet.
