OK here's the story: I finished a complete design including the PCB layout, then decided to junk it! Why you may ask? Basically 2 reasons:
A: I'm crazy
B: I thought of a better way to do it. I am re-designing using a microcontroller instead of mouse circuitry. Doing it all in code will make it more versatile. The board will support 2 serial ports with trackballs and spinners either auto-switching into one port or for 2 players into both ports at the same time. It will handle Happ devices including rotary joystick and Chris's Fultra spinners. The price will probably be $39.
If anyone has any ideas for features of this board please say!
It will be a few weeks before it's available though.
