:I tried your idea when I was in windows and double clicked on the autoexe.bat AcadeOS ran as should. But when I restarted my PC it goes into dos mode(BootGUI=0) and gives me this error:
Load error in DPMI - Get csdpmi.zip
I can find this file on my system and don't know what else to try.

Any ideas?

: Please help: How do I alter AUTOEXEC file ect so that windows 98 doesn't load up and ArcadeOS in Dos mode does in its place as soon as I turn on my PC. (for my PC to Jamma.)

: right click the msdos.sys file in your C:\ directory.
: go to properties
: uncheck read-only
: open this file with notepad
: look for BootGUI=1
: change it to BootGUI=0
: save the file
: right click the file again
: go to properties
: check read-only
: a line to the end of your autoexec.bat file that starts ArcadeOS. Example:
: C:\ARCADEOS.EXE

: this will start ArcadeOS if it is in your C:\ directory.

: if you need to start windows, just type WIN and it will start (if WIN.EXE is in your path).
