I got real lucky. There's a print shop near me that does blue prints for houses, etc. -- basically large scale printing. They were more than happy to print for me.
My graphic was 27x8 and printed on one continuous sheet of paper. They also did a black matte picture (same image but all color was replaced with white and black was black) so that I could put the two images together and have the blacks be doubly black and the color shine through. It looks real nice... Got both images done for only $30.
My only beef is that, although it looks damn good, it still isn't like a real arcade game marquee.. I guess they print directly onto the plexi or use some other technique because it just doesn't look perfect.
