Where to get marquee printed???

I was wondering what other people were doing about actually printing out custom marquees? I know a lot of people do the "print on 3 sheets, and tape them together" trick. I was hoping for a continuous sheet. I contacted my local CopyWorks (like a Kinko's) and for an 8" x 36" banner, they wanted $50. That is a little steep. Anyone else have better luck?
