One moe thing....How does this work with say I-Pac or the Hangstrom encoders?

I am wanting dual rotating sticks, plus a trackball. I need to be sure i can use your board along with my using an I-Pac and/or Opti-Pac.

Any thoughts?

: : Ok Mr. Wizard....I think some of us would like more info...in real simple english.
: : Does this device let me connect 2 rotating joysticks that I can buy from Happ Controls so I can play Time Soldiers, Heavy Barrel, etc ?
: : And is it simple to connect these joysticks to the device?
: : -thanks.

: Well I don't have the Happ joysticks but they claim it is a direct replacement for the SNK Ikari type 12 position rotary joystick, and so assuming they have a compatible product, then yes. I am using the real yellow knob joysticks directly from actually Time Soldiers and Heavy Barrel, I have the Jamma board for both those games and the Marquees etc, and that's where the joysticks came from.
: And I saw a web site where someone owned a Guerrilla War board and was using those Happ joysticks with it so I assume the Happ device is indeed a compatible one. Their writeup seems to imply it, 12 position rotary Ikari type.

: The important part is having a 13 pin connector on it. If you have a way to do an electrical continuity check (multimeter?) I can tell you how to check a Happ joystick to make sure it's ok, if you have a joystick already.
: Connection is easy yes. You can see in the pictures on the auction, the first 2 have nothing connected but on the left are the 2 plug connectors...then at the bottom picture the unit has the 2 cables on it. They plug straight in no problem, then the output wires are inserted into the screw terminals and tightened. Simple.

: The device works great in Tron and XYBots as well, I've noticed. I like playing Tron but I've never been able to coordinate using the dial buttons with my 4 button Gamepad, but using the rotary joystick finall makes it easy.
